Nexus DocStudio Terms of Use

1. Description of Service & Core Guarantee

Nexus DocStudio is an on-device utility application designed for Android devices. It provides document scanning, PDF viewing, viewing and editing of Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, Office-to-PDF conversion, existing text and image editing, on-device Tesseract Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Malayalam and Indic language Unicode shaping with bundled Noto fonts, page organization, annotation, redaction, digital signing, and file compression.

Nexus DocStudio operates 100% offline on your device. The developer does not operate or provide cloud hosting servers for your documents. You retain exclusive ownership and custody of your files at all times.

2. License Grant & Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NexusAppSuites grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited personal license to install and use Nexus DocStudio on personal Android devices that you own or control.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the application;
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the application;
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the software binaries;
• Use the application to forge official signatures, alter legal instruments or government IDs fraudulently, or infringe intellectual property rights.

3. Core Free App vs. Nexus DocStudio Pro

Core Free Tier: The basic functionality of Nexus DocStudio—including standard document viewing, basic markup, page reordering, and basic exports—is free forever.

Nexus DocStudio Pro Tier: Advanced professional features are unlocked under the Nexus DocStudio Pro plan:

• Word, Excel and PowerPoint editing and Office-to-PDF conversion
• Existing PDF text and image editing
• On-device Tesseract OCR & searchable PDF generation
• Malayalam Unicode font shaping and legacy font conversions
• Book curvature flattening & double-sided ID card capture
• Advanced PDF compression & password encryption
• Permanent content redaction & document comparison
• Smart automatic document naming

4. Subscription Pricing & Google Play Billing

Automatic Renewal: An auto-renewing plan renews at the end of each billing period (for example every month or every year) unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active billing period. A prepaid plan does not renew by itself; you renew it in Google Play when it ends. After an introductory offer or free trial, the plan continues at its regular price unless cancelled before the offer ends. Your Google Play account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current term.

Subscription Management & Cancellation: You can cancel or modify your subscription at any time via Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.

Refunds: All purchases and refunds are processed according to standard Google Play Refund Policies. NexusAppSuites does not directly process payments or issue cash refunds outside the Google Play merchant system.

5. User Content & Document Ownership

You retain 100% ownership, intellectual property rights, and responsibility for all documents, scans, images, text, and signatures processed using Nexus DocStudio.

Because the app operates strictly offline on your device, NexusAppSuites has no access to your documents and cannot retrieve, recover, or back up files for you if your device is damaged, lost, or reset. You are solely responsible for keeping backup copies of important documents.

6. OCR & Font Rendering Accuracy Disclaimer

On-device Tesseract OCR and Indic language shaping (including complex Malayalam ligatures and conjuncts) depend heavily on camera focus, lighting, page curvature, paper contrast, and device processing power.

NexusAppSuites does not warrant that OCR recognition will be 100% error-free or that complex legacy font conversions will perfectly preserve historical layout geometry. Users are advised to review converted and redacted output prior to submitting documents for critical legal or official purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Nexus DocStudio is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall NexusAppSuites, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, documents, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Nexus DocStudio. In any case, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the application during the preceding twelve (12) months.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Nexus DocStudio after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
